Very similar to your half mooning with the strikes, adding a front kick just adds another level of difficulty making sure that you maintain your balance with each kick and landing solidly into your half moon stance before throwing the combo.
When doing the 8 point blocking, the combo strike will start with the non-blocking hand. Make sure not to compromise any aspect of the blocks or strikes when trying to add speed.
