You do not have to watch every angle we demonstrate from. Find the one that works best for you. In this drill the new strike is adding a reverse hammer to the groin. Make sure you initiate the motion of this strike from the shoulder and not just the elbow.
Remember that the footwork in Pinan 2 is the same as Pinan 1. Each strike sequence, however, will be different so make sure to throw the correct strike to the correct target area. For this drill it is a thrust punch to the groin (bend those knees).
The final section adds one more drill 3 to section 4 and culminates with the transition to the final salutation. The complete form should make the shape of a capital I.
