Make sure to extend through the back leg in your forward lean. Notice the posture of the upper body in each stance. Do not rise up when transitioning from the side lean to the forward lean. This is a great move for opening the hips and increasing your mobility and range of motion.

Make sure to start the striking combo on the lead leg each time. All of the other mechanics should still be present…solid base stance, bending the knees, rotating the trunk, etc. Again, start slow and build your confidence before trying to add speed to the combination.
